Job Description

What is the purpose of the role

The main purpose of the role is to assess repair and test subassemblies and components from multihead weighers and checkweighers and ensuring they meet quality and performance standards.

Primary responsibilities

  • Test and repair where possible units returned by both internal and external customers.
  • Ensure assessments testing and repairs are carried out with a high level of competency meeting agreed timelines and service levels.
  • Maintain consistently high service standards.
  • Build and test equipment as required.
  • Adhere to all deadlines and targets set by the Repairs Team Leader.
  • Provide support to Service Production and Overhaul teams as needed.
  • Accurately complete reports and maintain records for each job.
  • Continuously update and maintain product knowledge.
  • Ensure a clean and organised work environment.
  • Report any Health & Safety issues or near misses.

What skills are we looking for

The successful candidate must have strong mechanical troubleshooting skills with the ability to dismantle units identify issues and assess worn parts. A problemsolving mindset and a logical approach to troubleshooting are essential along with excellent organisational skills and a clean methodical working approach.

The ideal candidate will have electrical knowledge and experience including the ability to read electrical drawings will be proactive able to meet deadlines and selfmotivated with a strong drive to deliver results.

We are looking for a team player with a positive attitude excellent written and verbal communication skills and a strong commitment to health and safety. The ability to uphold and demonstrate company values in all interactions is crucial along with good timekeeping punctuality and a willingness to take on tasks within your skill level as required
