Job Description
NY Kids Club & NY Preschool is inspiring todays children to succeed in tomorrows world with our love for play and were looking for a DOE Assistant Preschool Teacher to join our growing team!

Heres what a DOE Assistant Teachers day looks like:
- Ensure each students health and safety at all times through close supervision and adherence to our daily protocols
- Speak with parents and caregivers regarding student progress
- Assist in implementing our unique and original curriculum
- Maintain the highest level of customer service possible in accordance with the NY Kids Club pillars of service
- Have a high level of enthusiasm and professionalism and a desire to bring joy to learning
- Work with Lead Preschool Teacher to assess student abilities and progress

This job is for you if you:
- Have a High School Diploma or GED required
- Have a Bachelors Degree in a related field preferred (Early Childhood Education Elementary Education or Special Education highly recommended) or are in pursuit of a Bachelors Degree
- Have 1 year of teaching experience (ideally in a preschool classroom)
- Are a selfstarter highly motivated dynamic and a creative team player
- Have excellent communication skills
- Are a lifelong learner!

Physical Demands:
The role involves standing walking sitting constant movement and occasional climbing. The ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds is required. Specific sensory abilities include close vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and adjustment of focus.
