An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Consultant in Adult Psychiatry to join our esteemed NHS clients dynamic inpatient team based in Elgin Morayshire. This position is available for an immediate start offering competitive rates.
Key Responsibilities:
The Consultant in Adult Psychiatry will provide senior medical input to patients ensuring safe and timely service provision. They will take Consultant and RC responsibility for service users manage and supervise junior medical staff and work flexibly as part of a multidisciplinary team. The consultant will liaise with internal and external interfaces concerning admissions and transfers/discharges offer expert risk assessment and management skills and ensure a high quality clinical service is provided to all service users. They will also participate in service and business planning activities annual appraisals and the academic programme of the Trust. The consultant will maintain professional registration with the General Medical Council Mental Health Act Section 122 approval and abide by professional codes of conduct. Additionally they will work with local managers and professional colleagues to ensure the efficient running of services and comply with the Trusts policies and procedures.
