Job Description

Job Description: Traveling Biomedical Equipment Technician I (Contract)

Location: Annapolis MD

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Traveling Biomedical Equipment Technician I to join our team on a contract basis in Annapolis MD. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation maintenance calibration and repair of biomedical equipment at various healthcare facilities within the region.

Responsibilities:

  • Install inspect maintain calibrate and repair biomedical equipment
  • Perform preventive maintenance and electrical safety testing on equipment
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions
  • Order parts and supplies as needed
  • Document all work performed and maintain accurate records
  • Provide training and support to healthcare staff on equipment operation

Qualifications:

  • Associates degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology or related field preferred
  • 12 years of experience in biomedical equipment maintenance and repair
  • Strong knowledge of medical equipment systems and components
  • Ability to work independently and travel to various locations
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Must Pass background and drug screen.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Certification from the Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI) preferred
