Sentara Leigh Hospital located in Norfolk VA is currently hiring an Emergency Room Registered Nurse Traveler
This is a Temp Full Timeposition with Night shift hours
Position is located in Norfolk VA.
$70/hr
14 week Temp Assignment
Our Emergency Dept has a 35 bed Unit seeing approximately 75000 patients annually and ranked #1 ED for Patient Experience!
Education
Associates Bachelors Masters or diploma in the Nursing Field required
Certification/Licensure
- Virginia or Compact MultiState License in good standing
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- ACLS
- PALS
Experience
Must have two or more years of current acute care hospital RN ER experience.

We provide marketcompetitive compensation packages inclusive of base pay incentives and benefits. The base pay rate for Full Time employment is:$48.79 $81.31Additional compensation may be available for this role such as shift differentials standby/oncall overtime premiums extra shift incentives or bonus opportunities.Sentara Leigh Hospital located in Norfolk VA is a 274bed acute care facility that opened in 1903 and relocated to its present site in 1977. Our hospital completed a renovation in 2016 including two new patient towers a beautiful atrium and a multistory parking garage. Sentara Leigh Hospital includes a dedicated Orthopedic Hospital providing patients access to a full continuum of orthopedic care from the preoperative phase and surgery to rehabilitation and home care services. Along with being a recognized accredited Primary Stroke Center and Magnet hospital for nursing excellence we also specialize in orthopedic and spine care heart vascular maternity care and general surgery. We are also home to the regions only 24hour hyperbaric oxygen program that helps speed up the healing of carbon monoxide poisoning wounds that wont heal infections in which tissues are starved for oxygen airborne chemical exposures and scuba diving accidents.
