Position Overview
The Associate Project Manager is responsible for executing projects with low to moderate complexity and providing planning coordination resource management and reporting support on projects with moderate to high complexity to achieve desired project outcomes and bring projects to successful completion. The Associate supports various Project Managers with requirements gathering scoping and project by independently identifying problems offering best possible solutions and deciding if problems need to be brought to the Project Managers attention. In this capacity the Associate also manages specific sub functions for set amount of times to assist with the day to day operations of projects develop sustainable processes and create reporting which supports teams functions and companywide initiatives.
Job Description
- Assist Senior and Lead Project Managers in planning managing reporting and monitoring projects from concept through implementation and closing.
- Track costs performance service levels and other metrics required to ensure project goals and objectives are met.
- Prepare and implement communication plan for meetings and written reports or meeting minutes to keep stakeholders and project resources informed.
- Gather data and assist with preparing various reports covering project estimates project status and other management reports.
- Direct small projects or sections of larger projects involving crossfunctional teams multiple internal and external constituents. This includes managing and executing the daytoday operational aspects of all assigned projects completing project documentation tracking deliverables and gaining consensus from stakeholders to ensure successful implementation.
- Assist with establishing project management processes and methodologies to ensure assigned projects are delivered on time within budget and meet high quality standards and Leadership expectations using the appropriate tools.
- Meet with internal customers of assigned projects to provide status updates reporting and gather projectrelated feedback.
