Job Description
We are seeking a detailoriented and highly analytical Remote Data Steward to ensure the quality integrity and accuracy of organizational data across systems. The Data Steward will play a critical role in maintaining data governance standards monitoring data usage and collaborating with crossfunctional teams to ensure consistent and trusted data practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor manage and maintain data quality consistency and integrity across multiple databases and systems.
Implement and enforce data governance policies standards and procedures.
Identify data anomalies perform rootcause analysis and support data cleansing efforts.
Work closely with data owners analysts and IT teams to ensure proper data entry categorization and usage.
Document data definitions business rules and data lineage for enterprise data assets.
Participate in data migration integration and transformation initiatives.
Support compliance with datarelated regulations (e.g. GDPR HIPAA CCPA) as applicable.
Generate data quality reports and metrics for business and IT stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Data Management Information Systems Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
2 years of experience in data stewardship data quality or data governance roles.
Strong understanding of data management principles metadata and data lifecycle.
Experience working with data quality tools and platforms (e.g. Informatica Collibra Talend).
Proficient in Excel SQL and data visualization/reporting tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau).
Excellent attention to detail problemsolving skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
