Title: Warehouse Manager
Department: Logistics / Operations
Reports to: Logistics Manager / Operations Manager / Project Director
Location: City or Project
Supervises: Warehouse Supervisors Warehouse Assistants Inventory and Control Staff
Purpose of the Position:
Plan coordinate and supervise the efficient operation of the warehouse in highvolume construction projects ensuring the timely supply of materials tools and equipment to the sites based on policies of inventory control safety and operational efficiency.
Main Responsibilities:
Manage and control inventories of construction materials spare parts tools equipment and supplies.
Ensure the proper reception storage dispatch and transportation of materials according to the project schedule.
Coordinate with purchasing logistics and project to ensure the availability of critical inputs.
Implement material control and traceability systems (ERP or warehouse software).
Supervise and train warehouse staff in good storage practices safety and order.
Ensure compliance with industrial safety regulations hazardous material handling and construction protocols.
Prepare inventory reports material rotation and consumption by project or construction stage.
Control losses wastage and obsolescence as well as returns to suppliers or transfers between projects.
Manage internal and external inventory audits and procedures.
Coordinate the logistical activities of material inflow and outflow in conjunction with the transportation area.
Position Requirements:
Technical degree or Bachelors in Industrial Engineering Management Logistics or related fields.
Over 5 years of experience in construction sector warehouses especially in highvolume projects or multiple construction fronts including experience with major construction companies.
Knowledge in inventory control logistics of construction materials tools and equipment.
Proficiency in technological tools: ERP (SAP Oracle JD Edwards etc. and warehouse management systems (WMS).
Experience with industrial safety standards and good practices onsite.
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple requests simultaneously.
Driving license and availability to move between projects (if applicable).
