Cheltenham School District announces the following extra dutyextra pay position is available for theschoolyear at Cheltenham HighSchool:
Cheerleading Head Coach
Qualifications
- Must have extensive knowledge of the sport and the ability to effectively teach and communicate fundamental skills.
- Must have at least 2 4 years of coaching experience working with children and/or adolescents; coaching at the high school level preferred.
- A strong understanding of the sports theory and practice is required; experience as a player or coach at the high school or collegiate level is preferred.
- Must demonstrate the personal qualities necessary to foster sportsmanship and support studentathlete success in a positive and encouraging environment.
- The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication organizational and collaboration skills along with a proven ability to build relationships with studentathletes parents staff and school administration.
- Applicants must be prepared to submit required background checks that are no more than one year old from the date of issue in accordance with state law.
