Small Business Loan Officer Harlem Entrepreneurial Fund (HEF)

Harlem Commonwealth Council Inc. (HCC) is a nonprofit community economic development
corporation founded in 1967. HCCs original goal to form a strong economic base for the community has remained firm throughout its existence. HCC has engaged in a myriad of economic development projects from providing support for small businesses to developing a major real estate portfolio. Through the economic ups and downs HCC has remained committed to being responsive and adaptive in order to focus on building a strong Harlem community.

About Harlem Entrepreneurial Fund
Harlem Entrepreneurial Fund (HEF); a division of Harlem Commonwealth Council (HCC) is a missiondriven certified Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) specializing in microfinancing for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and Minority/Womenowned Business Enterprises (M/WBEs) while facilitating job creation in New York City. Created in 2008 HEF has been actively lending to small businesses for 10 years and is poised for growth to expand lending and technical assistance to small businesses. The organization is seeking a Small Business Loan Officer (SBLO) to help with the administration of the loan program.
POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting to the Managing Director of Lending the SBLO will contribute to HEFs mission and vision by creating a strong portfolio of small business borrowers in Harlem Upper Manhattan and the Bronx. The SBLO will be responsible for marketing HEFs products and services to potential borrowers assisting them with the application process underwriting and closing loans and providing oneonone technical assistance as required.

The Salary Range for the position is: $85 $105K
