We are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to drive certification excellence lead a talented team and contribute to the innovation of premium aircraft seating.

What Youll Do:

  • Lead and execute flammability certification processes to support engineering projects and program milestones.
  • Monitor project plans schedules and deliverables ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Manage resource allocation set priorities and provide technical guidance for certificationrelated tasks.
  • Oversee technical report writing and documentation to support certification approvals.
  • Collaborate crossfunctionally with stakeholders acting as the primary escalation contact.
  • Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance in certification efforts.
  • Coordinate proposals business plans and financial elements related to project .

What you will learn:

Flammability Certification Expertise

  • Deep understanding of FAA EASA and other regulatory requirements for aircraft interiors.
  • Handson experience with flammability testing compliance strategies and certification processes for premium cabin seating.

Qualifications we prefer:

  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing technical teams.

Preferred: Degree in Mechanical Engineering and experience with aircraft seating certification.

Qualifications you must have:

Typically requires a degree in Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree 14 years of relevant experience

The salary range for this role is 101000 USD 203000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits including but not limited to medical dental vision life insurance shortterm disability longterm disability 401(k) match flexible spending accounts flexible work schedules employee assistance program Employee Scholar Program parental leave paid time off and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collectivebargaining agreement.
