We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Application Developer to support enhance and modernize a suite of critical enterprise applications. This role focuses on Maximo (Asset Management) Archibus (Space and Property Management) and Transportation Management Systems ensuring their stability performance and integration within the enterprise ecosystem.
As a key technical leader you will drive software development system sustainment and continuous improvement initiatives working closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable highperforming solutions. This role requires a blend of handson development application maintenance and strategic technical guidance to optimize system functionality and user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expertlevel development support for custom software applications and COTS products (Maximo ARCHIBUS) ensuring optimal system stability and performance.
- Lead software development initiatives across multiple platforms including custom applications and COTS integrations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements provide progress updates and serve as the primary technical point of contact.
- Drive technical direction including architectural decisions code reviews and adherence to best practices.
- Lead technical discussions and mentor team members to ensure the successful delivery of solutions.
- Proactively identify troubleshoot and prevent system issues to maintain high reliability and performance.
- Work in an Agile environment leveraging innovative problemsolving to meet customer needs and overcome complex challenges.
Key Technologies:
Required:
- A bachelors degree and fifteen 15 years of experience in software development/ engineering in programs and contracts of similar scope type and complexity. Nineteen 19 years of software development experience may be substituted in lieu of a bachelors degree.
- Strong Java development experience with proficiency in JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular) for frontend development.
- Handson experience with Linux including development scripting and system troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in containerization technologies particularly Docker for application deployment and management.
- Experience with GitLab for version control CI/CD pipelines and collaborative development.
- Expertise in Agile methodologies including Scrum or Kanban with a focus on iterative development and continuous improvement.
- Proven ability to integrate customize and extend COTS products such as Maximo Archibus or Transportation Management Systems.
- Strong application sustainment expertise with the ability to manage enhancements troubleshooting and performance optimizations.
- Exceptional problemsolving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical issues.
- Ability to thrive in a fastpaced collaborative environment demonstrating adaptability and leadership in Agile teams.
Desired:
- Experience with AWS including cloudnative development deployment and infrastructure management.
- Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (e.g. Jira Confluence Bitbucket) for Agile project management and collaboration.
- Proficiency in Spring Boot for building scalable highperformance applications.
The estimated salary range for this position is between $225000$300000 (annualized USD). This range reflects the typical pay for the role and is one part of the companys comprehensive compensation package. Actual salaries are influenced by several factors such as location the individuals education skills experience and competencies as well as contract affordability and organizational needs.
