Overview and Responsibilities
Job Title:Support Worker Meldreth Manor
Location: Meldreth Nr. Royston Cambridgeshire / Hertfordshire
Contract Type: Permanent Part Time minimum 24 hours per week
Hours: We have a variety of shifts that could work for you
Salary: 12.37 to 13.49 per hour (linked to competency and qualifications) PLUS 1500 Welcome Bonus*
No experience necessary full training given and fully funded study for Level 3 qualification.

We are currently looking for a number ofSupport WorkersinMeldreth Nr. Royston (South Cambridgeshire / North Hertfordshire border)where ourAurora Meldreth Manorchildrens home and school provides education care and therapeutic support for children and young people aged 919 years with severe and profound communication difficulties associated with conditions such as cerebral palsy autism brain injury and degenerative disorders.

Key Duties
- Providing exceptional high levels of care during all daily activities such as washing dressing socialising learning washing/personal care.
- Assisting with therapy sessions such as hydrotherapy and rebound therapy.
- Communicating effectively and building strong relationships that will empower the children and young adults are free to grow and develop
- Ensuring that the environment is safe supportive and enjoyable
- Helping develop their learning and social skills wherever possible

Skills and Qualifications
Although no experience is required we are looking for candidatesto demonstrate:
- Willingness to learn and to go the extra mile
- Ability to guide and encourage supportive independence when possible
- Exceptional communication skills and patience
- Resilient with a robust and positive nature
- Ability to be creative in meeting the needs of the young adults or childrens needs
- Must be able to complete 2 weeks full time induction (Monday to Friday) before starting part time shifts
