Job Description
Objective
To ensure efficient operation and maintenance of all the electrical works in the hospital & smooth day to day (shift to shift) operations of engineering department in order to achieve on excellent level of guest satisfaction.
Principal Accountabilities :
Principal Accountabilities
(A) Strategic
Ensures all the technicians under him are fully trained on operations and maintenance of electrical equipments.
Encourages development of multi skilling among his subordinates.
Conducts briefing in each shift and update/delegate electrical related activities
(B) Operational
Responsible for delegation of works to technicians to achieve high employee productivity in the department.
Responsible for of preventive maintenance work as per schedule / maintenance plan.
Analysis of breakdowns / complaints in equipments on weekly/ monthly basis.
Performing all shift responsibilities to make sure the operation of all engineering services.
Ensures all records log books and processes are maintained in the shift.
Recording and ensuring critical spares / consumables are available in stock and generate inventory report.
Plans the work in consultation with other departments for early and smoother completion of work including the delegation of manpower and materials.
Recommends changes in various processes to increase operational efficiency service standards.
Establishes and ensures adherence to key systems and procedures in his area.
Maintaining records of maintenance for equipments and updating as per schedule.
Reduction of Operation & Maintenance Cost by timely maintenance/ service of equipments.
The engineer is in charge of electrical equipments maintenance and record keeping as detailed. He will be discharging these duties other than the shift responsibilities.
Performance Parameters
98 Uptime of Electrical equipments
Adherence of SOPs and procedures laid by organization
Training and development of HVAC team
100 adherence of PM schedule
Implementation/commissioning of new projects
Experience
Minimum 3 years experience of relevant field.
Knowledge
Electrical equipments operation and maintenance.
Team player
