JOB SUMMARY: Assists the radiologists and other staff physicians with invasive procedures patient scheduling clerical and image processing functions participating in the CT call plan managing the flow of patients and processes and working in general diagnostic radiology when needed. Performs diagnostic radiology and CT procedures by utilizing equipment and employing techniques and procedures that are appropriate to the entire span of ages served in accordance with accepted standards of practice and demonstrating expertise in limiting radiation exposure to patients and other members of the health care team.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:Graduate of an accredited twoyear AMA and ARRT approved program in Radiologic Technology required. Must meet all required elements of competency checklists for advancement level and have 6months experience as a registered CT Technologist.
LICENSURE CERTIFICATION and/or REGISTRATION: Registered and certified with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiography. BLS (CPR) certification. Registry eligible for CT allowed and must become registered within 12 months of hire.

Ability to communicate on a professional level with physicians nurses and other ancillary professional staff when discussing procedures and patients care
Ability to maintain daily schedules
Clinical skills to enable recognition and to function accordingly in relation to priorities of patient needs
Good oral and written communication skills
Knowledge of crosssectional anatomy
Completes 24 hours of required continuing educations every two years
