Job Description

Job Title: 3rd5th Grade Reading Language Arts (RLA) TeacherLocation: Trinidad Independent School District Trinidad TexasPosition Type: FulltimeJob Summary:Trinidad ISD is seeking a motivated and passionate educator to join our team as a 3rd5th Grade Reading Language Arts (RLA) Teacher. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment while promoting literacy skills and a love for reading and writing in students. The teacher will be expected to teach using the Amplify Curriculum and implement effective instructional strategies aligned with state standards.Key Responsibilities:Deliver engaging and effective lessons in Reading and Language Arts to students in grades 3 through 5.Utilize the Amplify Curriculum to guide instruction and assessments.Maintain a classroom environment conducive to learning and student growth.Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the diverse needs of students.Assess student progress regularly and use data to inform instruction.Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience.Maintain communication with parents regarding student progress and classroom events.Qualifications:Bachelors degree.Valid Texas teaching certification.Knowledge and experience in using the Amplify Curriculum or similar instructional materials.Strong classroom management and organizational skills.Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Compensation:State base pay as per Texas Education Agency guidelines.Additional districtspecific benefits and stipends may apply.How to Apply: Interested candidates are invited to complete an application (trinidadisd) and submit application to Michael Warren at Trinidad ISD is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
