Job Description
Job Title: Registered Nurse Behavioral Health
Location: Grand Rapids MI
Open Positions: 6
Hourly Pay Range: $28.90 $41.00/hour (based on experience)
SignOn Bonus: $8000 $12000
Shift Types Available:
- 12Hour Shifts: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM & 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
- 8Hour Shifts:
- 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM 11:30 PM
- 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM 7:30 AM
Available Units & Shifts:
Youth Populations
- FT Nights 32 & 36 hours
- FT Evenings 32 hours
High Acuity Adult Populations
- FT Days 36 hours
- FT Evenings 32 hours
- FT Nights 36 hours
Older Adult Populations
- FT Evenings 32 hours
- FT Nights 32 hours
Shift Differentials:
- 7 AM 3 PM Sat/Sun: $1.25/hr
- 3 PM 11 PM MonThurs: $2.00/hr
- 3 PM 11 PM FriSun: $3.00/hr
- 11 PM 7 AM MonThurs: $4.00/hr
- 11 PM 7 AM FriSun: $5.00/hr
Position Summary:
The Behavioral Health RN provides direct patient care in a mental health setting assessing needs planning and evaluating treatment in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. Nurses support individuals across youth adult and geriatric populations in high acuity and communitybased environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducts comprehensive assessments and develops patientcentered plans of care
- Delivers and coordinates nursing interventions in collaboration with the care team
- Assists with family education discharge planning and milieu management
- Maintains accurate documentation and ensures patient safety at all times
- Provides clinical leadership and supports development of other staff
- Upholds policies protocols and values of compassionate inclusive care
- May function as charge nurse and mentor to direct care staff
- Promotes a recoveryfocused and personcentered environment
Requirements:
- RN License in Michigan
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience preferred
- Behavioral Health or psychiatric nursing experience strongly preferred
- Flexibility with shift schedules and ability to support a fastpaced environment
