Are you a skilled Data Engineer with a passion for optimising business processes and driving digital transformation
A leading organisation is seeking an experienced Data Engineer / Analyst to play a pivotal role in streamlining and enhancing financial surveillance operations. This exciting opportunity offers the chance to work on a transformational programme improving systems data and operational efficiencies through cuttingedge solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and optimise business processes and value chains within financial surveillance.
- Analyse design and develop business processes to enhance data systems and workforce capabilities.
- Identify automation opportunities and recommend solutions for process improvement.
- Implement industry standards and frameworks such as APQC and TOGAF.
- Develop detailed business process flows incorporating technology solutions.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to drive sustainable business solutions.
- Provide process documentation operating instructions and best practice recommendations.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Minimum of 710 years of relevant experience.
- At least 5 years experience in data engineering and data warehousing.
- Handson experience with ETL tools such as Informatica and Oracle.
- Strong knowledge of data warehousing data modelling and cloud applications.
- Experience with database technologies like Teradata and Oracle.
- Familiarity with Power BI SAS Python and R is an advantage.
- Exposure to machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities.
- Understanding of data governance frameworks such as DAMA.
Qualifications:
Degree or Diploma in Information Technology Engineering Informatics Business Information Systems or Computer Science.
