Residential Director of Design
Minneapolis MN Direct Hire $140k
Konik has partnered with a custom residential remodeling company seeking an innovative and experienced Residential Director of Design to lead a design team and manage a department dedicated to exceptional design superb client experiences and collaboration with team members within a designbuild environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking to take their passion and expertise in residential architecture and grow a company.
As the Director of Design you will:
- Mentor and manage a design team.
- Lead the development and implementation of design standards.
- Provide design solutions to support architectural plans and construction.
- Consult with the internal construction team.
- Be an active member of the leadership team.
- Provide exceptional client relations.
- Lead generation and participation in professional organizations and networking events.
- Foster a motivated and productive team environment.
Director of Design Requirements:
- Degree in Architecture or Interior Design licensure is a plus.
- A minimum of fifteen years of experience in highend residential architecture and design.
- Advanced knowledge and understanding of building codes design and construction.
- Prior experience managing and mentoring staff.
- Experience coordinating with construction and consultants to meet project deadlines.
- Revit proficiency
- Superior verbal written and presentation skills
