Job Description
- Develop and implement IT strategies within project timelines.
- Manage and lead IT teams to achieve project deliverables.
- Evaluate and recommend technology investments tailored to project needs.
- Oversee system updates migrations and upgrades permanent to the project.
- Ensure compliance with IT security standards and projectspecific policies.
Requirements
- 15 years of experience in IT leadership and architecture specializing in Java and Pega.
- Public Trust (or higher clearance) is required. Candidates must be eligible to obtain anIRS Personal Identity Verification (PIV) Badge.
- PMP Certification is required.
- Certified as a Lead System Architect with the Principal System Architect designation (CPLSA)ORcertified as a Business Architect with the Lead Business Architect (LBA)designation ORCertified Pega Business Architect (CPBA) is required.
- US Citizenship is required.
- Candidates must be located in the DMV area.
- Proven experience in IT management roles preferably as a contractor.
- Highly knowledgeable in Java J2EE Pega Objected Oriented Programming Concepts and Patterns XML REST Spring Boot/microservices OpenShift Docker Kubernetes technologies and workflow architecture.
- Ability to deliver results within tight project deadlines.
