The Lending Associate is responsible for underwriting executing and monitoring middle and lowermiddlemarket loan facilities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Support the team in the underwriting documentation & closing of investment opportunities
Analyze potential investment opportunities and present written analysis on individual credits
Monitor portfolio credits including performing periodic and recurring portfolio reviews and updates
Assist in amendment discussions negotiations and internal approval processes
Attend board meetings and management calls of assigned portfolio companies
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: (including certification licenses etc.
2 years experience in lending banking investment banking or private equity
Detailoriented
Quantitative proficiency
COMMUNICATION SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to analyze and interpret business documents technical materials financial reports and/or legal documents.
Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on investment opportunities or portfolio situations to Investment Committee and other senior management.
Ability to organize effective written communication adapted to various audience styles.
At OFS base pay is one part of the total compensation package. This role is eligible for bonus pay in addition to base salary. Actual base salary considers several factors including but not limited to geography jobrelated knowledge experience and budget. The start of the salary range is typically associated with the minimum experience required. The anticipated base salary range for the position in NY New York is $120000 $140 000.
