Key Responsibilities
As the Personal Lines Insurance Advisor you will play a pivotal role in delivering tailored insurance solutions to our clients. Your responsibilities will include:
Client Consultation and Policy Development:
- Engage with clients to assess their personal insurance needs providing expert advice on suitable coverage options.
- Develop and present personalized insurance policies that align with clients requirements and financial considerations.
Policy Management and Client Support:
- Oversee the administration of new policies renewals and adjustments ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
- Provide ongoing support to clients addressing inquiries processing claims and maintaining accurate records.
Sales and Business Development:
- Identify opportunities to expand the client base through referrals networking and community engagement.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the organization.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role candidates should demonstrate the following:
Education & Experience:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a degree in business finance or a related field is preferred.
- Level 1 BC General Insurance Licence required Level 2 preferred.
- 23 years of experience in personal lines insurance.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in insurance management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards.
Key Competencies:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build lasting client relationships.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to identify client needs and offer tailored solutions.
