Overview of the role:
EMBS Engineering is currently recruiting for a Manufacturing Engineer (Laser/CNC Programming) to join a precision engineering company located on the outskirts of South Birmingham working on a permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Manufacturing Manager in achieving objectives
- Create robust programs for EDM/Laser machinery
- Designing jigs fixtures and press tools

Successful applicants for the role ofManufacturing Engineer (Laser/CNC Programming) must be able to demonstrate:
- Demonstrated experience working as aManufacturing Engineer with a focus on Laser CNC orWire EDM machining
- Previous experience in Automotive Aerospace & Defence Power Generation Medical Nuclearindustries
- Minimum 5years experience in Programming offline using CAD CAM packages
- Engineering competence with Solidworks or similar CAD packages
- Able to create jigs and fixtures tooling and fixturing design experience
- Excellent problemsolving and communication skills
- Proactive approach and strong willingness to learn new manufacturing techniques
