About the role
Families Empowered is seeking a Development Intern to meaningfully contribute to our organizations fundraising efforts. This position will report directly to the Development Coordinator and work closely with other departments. The Development Intern will be an integral part of Families Empowered development team assisting with various daytoday activities. This position provides the opportunity to work on several highpriority projects including donor events and provides experience with working with key stakeholders including corporate sponsors key supporters and community partners.
This role is in person in Houston TX.
Responsibilites
Assist in managing the donor database (Salesforce) and ensure data integrity by making sure data is accurate and uptodate.
Draft donor communications and mailings.
Scheduling meetings with key stakeholders.
Research as needed for current and prospective donors.
Provide support for fundraising events and initiatives
