Job Description
Internal Medicine Physician for Mount Sinai Doctors Stuyvesant Town in Downtown Manhattan!
Stuyvesant Town affectionately called StuyTown is a large private residential development on the east side of the New York City borough of Manhattan. With 110 buildings and 11250 apartments StuyTown often feels more like a small town or college campus. The complex sits on an 80acre tract of landscaped green space in the heart of NYC stretching from First Avenue to Avenue C between 14th and 23rd Streets. Stuyvesant TownPeter Cooper Village is split up into two parts: Stuyvesant Town south of 20th Street and Peter Cooper Village north of 20th Street. Both communities feature oversized and renovated modern apartments with its own unique feeling. New Yorkers have been renting apartments here for more than 70 years.
The ideal candidate will provide high quality Internal Medicine services to adults. Candidates will play an instrumental role in ensuring excellent patient care quality outcomes and satisfaction. In addition we would like our talented physician candidates to have a passion for outpatient medicine and be fully committed to mission of Mount Sinai Health System.
The chosen candidates will have the opportunity to partner with world renowned Icahn School of Medicine. Mount Sinais Department of Medicine is strongly committed to caring for the whole patient and places special emphasis on providing patientcentered care. The division embraces the mission of Icahn School of Medicine by pursuing an integrated approach to patient care research and education. Qualifications
- Medical Degree from an Accredited University
- New York Medical License
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine
- Some Experience preferred

- Excellent communication bedside manner and organizational skills
- A strong work ethic and desire to participate in a teamoriented performancedriven Health System
Compensation range from220K to 240K (not including bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits)

Mount Sinai Health System provides a salary range to comply with the New York City law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors including experience specialties historical productivity historical collections and hospital/community need. As such an actual salary may fall closer to one or the other end of the range and in certain circumstances may wind up being outside of the listed salary range. The salary range listed is for fulltime employment and does not include bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits.
