Texas A&M University Texarkana is launching the Better East Texas initiative and educational campaign to address the needs of this historically underserved region. We are inviting applications for the Lecturer of Engineering/Director of Forest Products Executive Education position to support this initiative. A masters or a doctorate degree in a relevant field is required for the lecturer rank. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a new academic program intended to impact East Texas positively.
Under general direction the Lecturer of Engineering/Director of Forest Products Executive Education directs the operations and administration of the forest product certificate program and maintains responsibility for the assigned program. This position initially carries 50 administrative duties as a Director of Forest Products Executive Education and 50 as a faculty member. The engineering division chair and the college dean can adjust this percentage.
