Job Description
SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly motivated and intellectually curious Associate to join our team focusing on strategic initiatives and AI solutions implementation. In this dynamic position you will gain exposure to a wide spectrum of business banking and financial topics while also contributing to the implementation and management of cuttingedge AI solutions. You will be instrumental in driving projects from conception to completion ensuring timely delivery and effective communication across various stakeholders. Must be extremely flexible and willing to take on a myriad of different tasks ranging from traditional administrative work to complex data analysis.

This role is ideal for an individual with a strong interest or understanding of computer science data analytics modeling and related technical fields particularly AI and Machine Learning.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Effectively execute on a wide variety of strategic and tactical objectives assigned by the Chairman/CEO and President of Sunwest Bank.
- Assist in the planning and monitoring of strategic projects.
- Support the evaluation implementation and optimization of AI and Machine Learning solutions.
- Prepare both routine and confidential spreadsheets reports presentations and other complex documents in Microsoft Office Suite; Research and aggregate/consolidate information into summary reports for leadership.
- Ghost write industry content for publication internal company communication and specific marketing material.
- Provide operational and strategic value to the executive suite across multiple initiatives.

- Perform administrative work responsibly and in a timely manner exercising considerable independence and sound judgment in making decisions.
- Evaluation prospective business opportunities including investments in private and public companies.
- Lead internal teams related to Bank projects.
- Establishes strong internal partnerships across various layers of the organization.
- Serve as a liaison between information technology and lines of business to ensure alignment of
- Translate key objectives and initiatives to middle management and staff.
- Present to CSuite Level Management Teams potential partners and board of directors.
- Report analyze and translate data into key insights that drive strategic decision making at the executive level.
Additional Responsibilities
- Demonstrate professionalism in communication attitude and teamwork.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures safety regulations and local state and federal laws.
- Maintain awareness of compliance requirements related to financial institutions with emphasis on BSA/AML/CIP Consumer Privacy Regulation CC Information Security Bank Protection Act FACTIdentity Theft Information Technology and GLBA.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Data Analytics Financial Modeling Economics or a related field
- Demonstrated interest or understanding of AI Machine Learning and related technical fields.
- 13 years of relevant work experience in data analytics software engineering finance investment banking or private equity
- Highly comfortable with excel modeling and industry analysis
- Fluent understanding of P&L dynamics and unit economics
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills in speaking with different levels of management
- Ability to analyze large amounts of data
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
