Job Description

Job Title: B757 Aircraft Mechanic (Aircraft Maintenance D)

Location: Richmond VA

Summary:

Operation inspection maintenance and repair of all systems on 757200 aircraft including engine removal and installation. Work environment is in a fast paced time sensitive area working outside. Other duties will include

administrative work relating to FAA part 125 operations and flying with the aircraft as an on board technician assisting with cabin duties related to safety.

** Position Requires being domiciled (within 1 hour response time) to Richmond International Airport in order to meet time sensitive schedule requirements and oncall responsibilities**

Required Education Licensure and Experience:

  • 5 years experience on large transport category aircraft.
  • A&P License.

Additional position requirements:

  • Candidate must currently possess a DoD Top Secret Security Clearance.

Physical and Location Requirements:

  • Position will include lifting bending and climbing.
  • Ability to lift 75 pounds.
  • Required to load and unload aircraft cargo.
  • Position does require flight duties.

Additional PositionQualifications:

  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of FAA operational procedures and inspection requirements.

  • Must possess outstanding troubleshooting and maintenance techniques on aircraft systems.

  • Ability to obtain an airport clearance/security badge (FAA).

  • Ability to read speak and write English language.

  • Position will require short notice travelling (CONUS and OCONUS)

  • Ability to work with a wide range of technical reference material from commercial/OEM manuals to blueprints/engineering drawings.

  • Familiarization or experience with FAA FAR Part 91/121/125/135 preferred.

  • Position requires candidates to become CSC (Cabin Safety Crew/Flight Attendant) qualified.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Boeing Aircraft Maintenance experience.
  • IA certification.
