Position Title: Senior Catheter Test Development Engineer
Salary: $127010 to $171840 / Year
Hours: Monday Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm 40 Hours/ Week
Summary of Duties: Design lead and support handson development of test methods and protocols for catheter components assemblies and accessories. Select commercial test equipment develop custom mechanical and hardware/fixture features develop test equipment and integrate test systems for use in R&D engineering and production environments. Test components assemblies and accessories individually and with the support of technicians. Work with suppliers and partners to define test requirements and protocols perform catheter testing and characterization and analyze and report results. Develop formal documentation and release. Responsible for handson transfer of equipment work instructions and training to manufacturing 1015 domestic travel required.
Qualifications:The position requires a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Computer Engineering Biomedical Engineering or a related field and four 4 years of experience in the job offered or as a Verification Engineer or an acceptable alternate occupation.
The position requires four 4 years of experience with medical device testing. The position requires one 1 year of experience with the following skills: Test development; Prototype test hardware and tools; Experience working with existing test systems in a versioncontrolled test development environment; Application of engineering principles; Ability to specify implement and validate test methods; and Experience in control and test automation design and implementation. 1015 domestic travel required.
The pay range for this position is$127010 $171840annually; however base pay offered may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience.
