Select and size the electrical components. Use Solidworks to makelayout drawings and electrical schematics Finalize Bill of Materials and component selection for purchasing and manufacturing departments. Assist with installation of the controls on the machine and startup of the machine in our factory Develop monitor and adjust project timelines to make sure all design work is completed on schedule and within budget. Perform Controller Programming using Ladder Logic and/or Structured Text where applicable. The company work primarily with Mitsubishi but other manufacturer products may be used if specified by the endcustomer. Provide support to the manufacturing department during thebuilding and installation process ensuring machines are built according to design specifications. Collaborate with the machine designers and with Manufacturing Manage project documentation ensuring compliance with company standards and client expectations.
Controls Engineer / Control System Engineer / PLC Engineer / Automation Engineer Required Skills/Abilities: Demonstrated success in designingcontrol and wiring systems A working knowledge of electrical controls and control circuits including component wiring and the ability to size and select components. Experience with PLCs required. Experience with PCs and other control system & programming is helpful Abilityto carry out the orderly of a proposed project plan. Willingness to travel to visitclients to review applications and support installations. Education/Experience: Five 5 years of experience in designingand installing control systems Proficiency with SolidWorks. Experience managing design projects 23 years preferred). Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team.
