As part of Sulzer Chemtech known for its advanced separation and mixing technologies youll support industries like refining petrochemical and chemical manufacturing. Within Chemtech our Tower Field Services (TFS) team specialises in maintaining and upgrading industrial towers essential for processes such as distillation and gas separation serving key clients in the oil & gas petrochemical and energy sectors.

As an Environment Safety and Health (ESH) Advisor you will ensure ESH compliance across our UK and European projects working in both office and site environments. This role requires flexibility as projects may involve staying away from home for up to 5 weeks. However we fully support your travel and offer a healthy balance between your professional and personal life.

What You Will Do:

In this role you will be a key figure in promoting and maintaining ESH standards across all project stages from initial planning to project completion. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as a role model for ESH excellence at both office and project sites.
  • Delivering inductions training and communications to enhance awareness of ESH and Quality standards.
  • Guiding project teams to ensure ESH requirements are integrated throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conducting audits and safety walks assessing the effectiveness of ESH systems and identifying areas for improvement.

What You Bring:

  • A relevant qualification in Environment Safety and Health with a minimum of a NEBOSH General Certificate.
  • Experience working with ESH management systems such as ISOand 14001.
  • Knowledge of ISO 3834 and experience with VCA/SCCP audits is a distinct advantage.
  • Previous experience in the Oil Gas Petrochemical Refinery or Energy industries is preferred but not essential.
  • A willingness to travel and stay away from home with project durations of up to 5 weeks.
