Job Description

GAI Consultants is seeking a CEI Project Administrator based out of our Jacksonville FL office but assigned to the Tallahassee FL or Panama City FL area. The Project Administrator position involves oversight of various projects including transportation utility and other types of infrastructure projects. Responsibilities include construction contract administration and field inspection including maintaining various construction logs creating agendas and minutes for meetings coordinating with Senior Inspectors and Inspectors and assisting with providing instruction in fieldrelated inspection duties. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite software is preferred. Essential Duties:

  • Presents critical thinking skills in specific practice area; applies standard techniques procedures and criteria to perform assigned tasks
  • Coordinate construction meetings and produce minutes for review and distribution
  • Oversee the Contract Support Specialist in officerelated duties such as progress and final estimates EEO compliance construction contract changes etc.
  • Developing and taking initiative to be proactive and anticipate tasks
  • Assist members of the CEI team in other officerelated tasks
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English (both verbally and writing)

Job Qualifications

  • A Civil Engineering degree plus two 2 years of engineering experience in the construction of major road and bridge structures OR six 6 years of responsible and related engineering experience two 2 years of which involved the construction of major road or bridge structures.
  • CTQP Final Estimates Level II
  • CERTIFICATIONS: FDOT Advanced Maintenance of Traffic (MOT)
  • CTQP Quality Control Manager
