Job Description

The Cloud Engineer will design and manage cloud environments ensuring the availability performance and security of our cloud infrastructure. Key responsibilities include deploying and maintaining cloud services automating cloud operations monitoring system performance and optimizing costs. The engineer will also collaborate with various teams to support development pipelines and troubleshoot issues within the cloud infrastructure.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Design develop and deploy cloudbased infrastructure and applications in support of TRADOC G2 objectives.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define cloud architecture and implementation strategies.
- Implement and manage continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Ensure the security scalability and reliability of cloud solutions.
- Manage cloud resources and optimize performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and applications.
- Document cloud architectures configurations and procedures.
- Stay uptodate with the latest cloud technologies and best practices.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer or in a similar role.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Engineering or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in cloud engineering or related roles.
- Proficiency with cloud platforms such as Azure AWS or Google Cloud.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g. Terraform CloudFormation).
- Strong understanding of networking security and cloud best practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Clearance:Must possess a Secret security clearance or be eligible to obtain one.
