Overall Position Description
MCI seeks skilled piping installers for a mid to entrylevel position in the construction of commercial HVAC Systems. The position reports to the Pipefitting Foreman and is located in Charlotte NC.

Key Job Responsibilities
- Measuring cutting threading and bending various sizes of pipe and tubing to the required angle using pipe cutters and pipethreading machines.
- Welding carbon steel pipe using mig tig or stick
- Copper Brazing for refrigerant piping copper soldering for hydronic pipe.
- Threading and assembling threaded black pipe.
Desired Skills and Experience
- 2 years of field mechanical trade experience.
- Must possess a current valid drivers license.
- Must be able to pass a drug test and comprehensive background check.
- Must be physically able to complete all necessary piping tasks for an 8 hour work period.
- Flexibility for travel and working overtime/weekends as required.
- Must be able to safely lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to pass a welding test.
