Assistant Controller
Brooklyn NY (Hybrid potential on Fridays)

A healthcare staffing company is seeking a highly motivated Assistant Controller to oversee accounts receivable (A/R) and monthend financial reporting. This role is critical to streamlining the financial process and ensuring the companys books are closed efficiently. The ideal candidate is a gogetter with strong technical accounting skills excellent organization and the ability to work collaboratively
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee A/R ensuring invoices are properly documented and processed.
- Assist in implementing controls to close the books on time and maintain clean financial records.
- Work closely with the CFO to improve accounting processes to ensure little aging.
- Manage and support the offshore A/R team and payroll operations.
- Generate monthly financial reports including revenue tracking and forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and vendor documentation requirements.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Strong technical accounting expertise (QuickBooks or similar systems preferred).
- Highly organized with a processdriven mindset.
- Team player with the ability to oversee offshore teams and payroll functions.
- Strong work ethic and ability to meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
- Ability to problemsolve and improve financial workflows.
