Job Description
This position requires a high school diploma plus at least 4 years in construction CEI two 2 years of which shall have been in ITS construction inspection or a Civil Engineering Degree and one 1 year of ITS CEI experience.
Experience in Lighting and Signalization is also desired.
This position is responsible for field inspection duties of the installation of ITS Lighting Signals and Network components.
The position shall maintain asbuilt drawings of daily work activities as well as documentation of contractor work activities personnel vehicles and item quantities installed.
A firm understanding of CFX and FDOT specifications policies and procedures is also desired.
Responsibilities
Responsible for inspecting construction work; monitoring ITS Lighting Signalization and electrical installation techniques to ensure conformance with the plans specifications National Electrical code and other applicable manuals. Responsible for coordinating and managing the lower level inspectors and escalating any deficiencies to the Project Administrator.
