Job Schedule: 9/80 Under this schedule employees work 9 out of every 14 days totaling 80 hours worked and have every other Friday off.

Job Description:

Our Supply Chain Management organization is hiring a Complex Procurement Repair agent.

The qualified candidate must have a thorough understanding of acquisition principles theories concepts regulations and experience demonstrating a broad application of those practices techniques and standards. The candidate will manage a portfolio of complex procurement acquisitions.

The candidate must be customer focused and possess the ability to develop innovative solutions to a variety of complex problems; have excellent verbal written and presentation skills to accurately report findings and procurement status to a variety of audiences; and have excellent interpersonal and leadership skills to influence and guide cross functional teams customers and other external partners. In addition to this skill set the candidate will also be required to lead negotiations with suppliers for complex procurement hardware.

Specific knowledge of Firm Fixed Price Procurement types is required and a familiarity in Cost Plus Fixed Fee Cost Plus Incentive Fee as well as other innovative contract types is beneficial. Must have strong experience analyzing complex terms and conditions. Must be well versed in FAR and DFAR regulations and have a familiarity in project management.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop and manage the procurement process for complex technical products.
  • Plan material and service requirements source or acquire materials and services and manage supplier relationships.
  • Conduct competitive solicitation and award practices ensuring best value and compliance with company policies/objectives.
  • Negotiate contract terms and longterm pricing agreements with suppliers.
  • Execute procurement strategies within a solesource procurement environment analyze cost components and secure equitable and justifiable pricing from suppliers.
  • Document procurement analysis and negotiations effectively.
  • Be a leader within the organization serving as mentor and subject matter expert on procurement best practice.
  • Ensure procurement activities are compliant with Global Trade requirements AntiCorruption policies and US Government regulations (FAR/DFARS).
  • Crossfunctional collaboration with Subcontracts Compliance Finance Operations and Program Office.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree minimum of 10 years of prior procurement experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Proficiency with procurement software systems preferably SAP.
  • Experience in the aerospace & defense industry and familiarity with buying communications equipment is highly desirable.
  • Excellent negotiation communication and analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with NonDisclosure Agreements (NDAs) and proprietary information handling.
  • Understanding of the procurement process within the context of L3Harris policies and procedures.
  • Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to adapt to rapidly changing environments.
  • Highlevel attention to detail and dedication to thorough documentation.
