Job Description
We are looking to add compassionate Behavioral Health Associate to our clinical team! Keystone is a 126bed treatment center providing services to adults and adolescents in an inpatient setting. Keystone is located just southeast of Sioux Falls near the South Dakota/Iowa border in Canton SD.
Since 1973 Keystone Treatment Center has excelled in providing comprehensive individualized care for adolescents and adults who are suffering with chemical dependency compulsive gambling and cooccurring mental health conditions. We are a nationally recognized and respected treatment center that offers both inpatient and outpatient treatment in an atmosphere of trust honesty and responsibility. Keystone is proud to offer a full continuum of recovery services including assessments medical detoxification rehabilitation and continuing care. Services are grounded in the 12Steps and a number of evidenced based therapeutic interventions that are designed to meet the unique needs of the patient who are entrusted in our care.

AVAILABLE SHIFT AND HOURS:
This position is a full time position working between 3640 hours per week with shift differentials applying. All staff rotate weekends. We currently have various shifts open on our Adult Men and Detox Patients. This individual must work flexible hours demonstrate knowledge of substance abuse treatment and work with patients and families to promote recovery.
TRAINING AND ORIENTATION
Keystone is committed to training and safety. All newhires will attend a week long training with the HR department before
spending 2 weeks unit orientation with a mentor.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE BEHAVIORAL HEALTH ASSOCIATE.
Provide and coordinate the completion of various assessments.
Provide assistance and a listening ear when a patient is in need.
Ensure patients are accounted for by doing hourly patient checks.
Assist in conducting patient groups.
EDUCATION AND LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Must have a valid driver license.
Previous experience in chemical dependency preferred.
