Position Summary:
Florida Atlantic University is seeking an FAU graduate student for the position of Graduate Assistant for International Student Programs and Events Boca Raton FL.
Summary of Responsibilities:
Assist in planning extracurricular events for the International Friends Program (IFP).
Oversee the matching process between mentees and mentors within the IFP.
Assist in managing the International Student Ambassador Program.
Support orientation workshops and programs offered by the department/Center for Global Engagement.
Organize event materials and handle logistical arrangements for smooth event operations.
Coordinate with other campus partners/departments for any collaborative events.
Manage eventrelated email and social media communications and generate content.
Assist with general office duties and serve as front desk backup as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:
FAU degreeseeking graduate student in good academic standing with a minimum GPA of 3.0 required.Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
Cultural sensitivity in working with international students required.
Organized efficient and able to multitask required.
Demonstrated ability to work independently required.
Preferred Qualifications/Skills:
Prior customer service and event planning experience.

Salary:
