We are expanding at warp speed and are adding to our team from our sales office and shop floor locations to our remote online team members. We are a diverse creative and passionate crew who is always looking to discover and implement fresh innovative ideas and make some pretty amazing things.
JOB SUMMARY
The ideal candidate will have 7 years demonstrated mechanical experience or previous printing experience. Candidate must have a high degree of mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems read technical diagrams and operating manuals. The maintenance team is responsible for overall maintenance troubleshooting cleaning and repair of facility grounds machinery and equipment
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Diagnose and remedy mechanical trouble to determine repairs tear down repair and fabricate as needed
Repairs installs adjusts modifies and services all types of electrical equipment plant instrumentation and relays; can layout and perform machining operations or replacement parts.
Trouble shoots hydraulic and pneumatic systems read ladder logic and program PLCs.
Install maintain operate a variety of machine tools such as lathes drills millers grinders etc.
Perform preventive maintenance functions as outlined by equipment manufacturers manual and/or as dictated by trade standards.
Other duties as assigned
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
7 years demonstrated mechanical experience or previous printing experience.
Must have a high degree of mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems read technical diagrams and operating manuals. .
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Must be able to learn & apply information quickly
Must be versatile and be able to shift quickly from one duty to another.
Must be team oriented a team player willing to work for the good of the total team.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Normal no adverse or hazardous conditions.
Warehouse and plant with exposure to dust noise and fumes.
Close tolerance strength such as disassembly of motors for repairs.
Good vision (correctable to 20/20 hand/eye coordination color code distinction.
Ability to perform repairs in tight physical locations.
Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate emergency situations.
Ability to work at heights on temporary scaffolding/ladders.
Walking and standing 100 on concrete flooring.
Position requires grasping and utilizing manual dexterity including hand/finger coordination and the utilization of color vision.
The employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts fumes toxic chemicals and heat.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
Ability to use computer and calculator.
Ability to sit 5 stand 55 walk 20 kneel/squat 10 and bend 10 for eight hours Exposure to heat and cold dependent on outside temperatures.
