About the role:
Join us as a Care Assistant to delivery person centered care to each our residents that is as individual as they are. Are you able to wear your heart on your sleeve Can you change a moment and make a difference Can you help to transform lives If so we would love you to join our family at Allison House in Sandy.
This is an important role and youll receive our full support including a full training programme and induction. Our Care Assistants main priority is to ensure our residents happiness and wellbeing. You will be assisting our residents with washing and personal hygiene prepare drinks and snacks and administer medication if necessary. The key is to consider each persons physical and emotional needs. Every resident is different and you must respect their individuality.
Its all about creating a friendly supportive environment one where people are independent and free to make their own choices.
We are interested in people who caring comes naturally to and will put the needs of our residents first. Its important you can work as part of a team and keep accurate records and above all you must be peoplefocused and enjoy working with our residents.
Our Care Assistants also work night shifts which comes with key responsibilities: youll be expected to stay awake andsecure and lock the building. There is also enhanced pay for working weekends and nights.
