Your Role as a Locum Medical Dosimetrist:
Develop & Optimize Radiation Treatment Plans Design precise customized treatment plans using IMRT VMAT SBRT and 3D conformal techniques. Collaborate with Radiation Oncology Teams Work closely with radiation oncologists medical physicists and radiation therapists to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Utilize Advanced Treatment Planning Systems Perform dosimetric calculations using Eclipse RayStation Monaco Pinnacle or similar TPS software. Ensure Compliance & QA Adhere to AAPM AAMD and NRC guidelines ensuring treatment accuracy and patient safety. Adapt to New Environments Quickly Work efficiently in diverse clinical settings maintaining highquality standards across multiple institutions.
What Were Looking For:
Certified Medical Dosimetrists Must be CMDcertified (MDCB) with clinical experience in radiation oncology dosimetry. Experienced Locum Professionals Prior contract locum tenens or consulting experience is highly preferred. Proficiency in Treatment Planning Systems Strong experience with Eclipse RayStation Monaco Pinnacle or similar software. Thorough Knowledge of Radiation Therapy Techniques Expertise in IMRT VMAT SBRT Proton Therapy and Brachytherapy planning. Adaptability & Independence Ability to integrate quickly into new teams troubleshoot issues and maintain exceptional dosimetric accuracy.
