Position Summary
The Staff Accountant will support all Radiation Business Solutions entities by preparing and maintaining financial records in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). This role requires strong organizational and technical skills proficiency in data management and the ability to leverage software for accurate financial reporting.
The Staff Accountant will be expected to be comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders and functional teams. The ideal candidate thrives on finding process efficiencies meeting deadlines and collaborates effectively with stakeholders to improve business outcomes and financial reporting.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare journal entries to ensure books are closed accurately and on time
Learn and effectively utilize accounting software (NetSuite) and advanced Excel functions/formulas to support the financial processes
Utilize accounting software to generate reports for variance reconciliation and detailed explanations
Generate monthly report packages for business line owners
Assist the finance team with yearend audits and compliance requirements
Serve as a resource and partner to business line owners offering insights to support strategic decisions
Maintain and reconcile accrual and prepaid accounts in a timely manner
Manage vendor payments and client billing/collections according to contract terms
Build and maintain collaborative relationships with operations teams to provide more than just financial reports
Be a resource for other members of the finance team as needed
Participate in finance meetings and ensure timely fulfillment of data requests
Respond professionally to calls and Teams messages in a timely manner during business hours
Increase ENCORE values within scope of influence
Complete all other jobs as assigned

Bachelors Degree required in Accounting or Businessrelated field.
Minimum of two 2 years of experience in general ledger management
Previous experience with NetSuite software preferred.
