Tessera is seeking a resultsdriven and detailoriented Maintenance Trades Supervisor with a professional attitude.
Typical duties include but are not limited to:
Coordinate work tasks and other duties of Plumbers Boiler Tenders Locksmiths and wash rack personnel
Act as point of contact for issues regarding safety job duties and building locations.
Assign work orders through Maximo.
Keep track of personnel and work schedule to ensure work is completed on time.
Update deputy site manager and site manager on status of team when requested.
Responds to customer inquiries complaints and Quality Control followup actions.
Train employees on job tasks and assignments to ensure complete understanding of work assigned.
Monitor employee performance to ensure efficient use of time and priorities of work tasks.
Operating hand tools such as wrenches to join or fasten equipment and/or materials to perform simple tasks of a trade.
Communicates and interacts directly with the customer informing the customer of unexpected or additional repairs and determining customer needs.
Coach mentor and resolve employee concerns in a respectful and mutually beneficial manner.
Ensure the Maintenance crews documentation is turned in a timely manner.
Ensures safety procedures are practiced and strives to maintain an accidentfree environment.
Ensure company rules regulations and policies are followed by all employees supervised.
Oversee a variety of PMs Preventive Maintenance to include monthly scheduling for Plumbing group Locksmith group.
Oversee Plumbers Boiler Tenders Locksmiths and wash rack personnel in performing various plumbing boiler tending and wash rack tasks.
Ensures completed work meets quality control standards and coordinates with the Quality Control Manager.
Will demonstrate best practices while performing Plumbing Boiler Tending and wash rack tasks
Responsible for Maintenance Shop cleanliness.
Must exercise good judgment flexibility creativity and sensitivity in response to changing situations and needs and safety procedures
Establish maintain and foster positive and harmonious working relationships with those contacted in the course of daily work.
Must be able to read and understand the intent of the scope of work orders.
Responsible for ensuring all employees/technicians perform work in a safe and respectful manner.
Communicating with customers always be courteous and communicate in a professional manner when talking with customers.
Must be knowledgeable of the regulations on hazardous material hazardous waste and the right to know information sheets.
Possess knowledge of handling emergency of hazardous waste spills.
Maintain professionalism in both appearance and demeanor.
Must be available for after hours on call responsibilities.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience in Maintenance is required or equivalent combination of experience and education.
Journeymen Plumbing license is preferred.
Must have experience with CMMS (ticket tracking systems)
May be required to pass a medical evaluation and respiratory fit test.
Physical Requirements:
Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance. The physical demands of this position may be reasonably accommodated for individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions on a casebycase basis.
Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
May be required to reach kneel walk stand and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time based on position duties.
Work may require repetitive motion reaching lifting kneeling and walking. Standing or sitting for several hours at a time climbing in and out of a vehicle and up and down stairs may also be required.
Must have the perseverance to work effectively under pressure for extended periods of time.
Requirements:
A valid state drivers license is required with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tesseras insurance.
Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable security clearances and installation access. A background check and EVerify will be conducted for this position.
