Responsibilities:
Journal Entries Monthend close activities preparing Financial Reports
Creates effective financial statement schedules audit support schedules and other reports
Role Specific Skills:
Knowledge of monthly quarterly and annual book close cycles
Subject Matter Expertise in Expense Accounting Fixed Assets DAC IBNR etc.
Learns how data flows through the financial systems to the accounting function in order to be able to identify issues and take action to address them
Technical/Soft Skills
Advanced skills in MS Office
Experience in Oracle/SAP/Blackline
Extensive knowledge of US insurance and Insurance Finance
