Sr. Network Engineer
Information Technology plays a crucial role in our clients ability to deliver bestinclass network services. We are looking for a talented Senior Network Engineer to join a cuttingedge infrastructure team. This team supports the foundational systems off which the business runs today with guidance from the technical architects and senior engineers.
Senior Network Engineer Responsibilities:
Implement maintain monitor and troubleshoot all physical/virtual networking infrastructure and related operating systems supporting services and hardware/software.
Assist in the configuration maintenance monitoring and support of all physical/virtual server environments VMWare Linux and Windows Based Systems.
Configure implement maintain and troubleshoot routing and switching equipment.
Assist in planning engineering and monitoring the security configurations for the protection of the network systems.
Assist in the support and maintenance if the network monitoring system alerts updates etc.
Maintain firewalls virtual private networks and web protocols.
Implement test and manage vulnerability remediation activities that support security objectives and Enterprise Systems.
Perform threat hunting activities of system logs events and alerts from all collected systems and architectures
Comply with all security policies and procedures to ensure that the highest level of system and data confidentiality integrity and availability is maintained. Maintain endpoint protection
Perform disaster recovery/business continuity planning preparation and .
Evaluate and recommend vendor products relating to network and security solutions.
Create and maintain documentation for network security and server related systems and hardware/software.
Perform project management activities on all size technical services projects and support all phases of projects development life cycle.
Provide after hour support for daily business needs.
Other responsibilities as assigned.
Education and Skills/Qualifications of the Senior Network Engineer:
Bachelors degree (B.S. in computer science or related field; or
3 to 5 years of related experience and/or training; or an Equivalent combination of education and experience.
Familiarity with Cisco Nexus F5 load balancers nextgeneration firewall and EDR
Salary
$75000.00 $105000.00 per year based on experiences and background.
