Nursery Room Leader
Salary: Up to 29700
40 hours per week

Our client is looking for a nurturing and experienced Level 3 Room Leader to join their inclusive nursery team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate childcare professional to lead a room of children and support their development through engaging and creative activities in a safe and stimulating environment.

What Were Looking For

  • Qualifications: A Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare (or equivalent).
  • Experience: Previous experience working in a nursery setting ideally in a leadership role.
  • Child Development Knowledge: Strong understanding of child development and the ability to plan engaging ageappropriate activities.
  • Leadership & Communication: Excellent communication and leadership skills to guide and support staff.
  • Passion for Early Years: A genuine enthusiasm for providing highquality care and education for young children.
  • Safeguarding Knowledge: Uptodate understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Activity Planning: Plan and deliver ageappropriate activities that support childrens individual development.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of nursery practitioners fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Building Relationships: Develop strong relationships with children families and colleagues to create a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Child Safety & Wellbeing: Ensure the safety welfare and emotional wellbeing of all children in your care.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of childrens development progress and any concerns reporting to management as required.
  • Parent Partnership: Work closely with parents and guardians to provide highquality care and education for their children.
