Job Description:
The Operations Leads primary function is being an extension of the Supervisor by leading and/or directing the team in the Exhaust department. The Operations Lead in the Exhaust area will ensure that all employees adhere to procedures and work instructions to perform the exhaust process on components with an emphasis on achieving the highest quality and yield goals set by the Exhaust department
Essential Functions:
Ensure a quality product is produced that meets the customer specifications and maintain sufficient inventory to satisfy internal and external customers
Interpret data from Analytical/Diagnostics equipment to make sound decisions based on relevant facts
Define complex equipment issues and quality levels while informing Engineering of any process component etc. that deviate from normal processing
Ensure accurate record entry through use of onsite Quality Tracking System
Be an extension of the supervisor by leading and/or directing team
Minimum of 2 years experience in a leadership capacity
Related manufacturing work experience; 13 years required
Experience in the Exhaust department as an Exhaust Processor or Technician preferred
Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office)
Be fully crosstrained within prescribed time period
Thorough understanding of all departmental operations within prescribed time period
Adherence to company policies; must be in good standing in terms of performance and attendance
Must be able to meet productivity goals
Require minimal supervision and work well independently
Ability to anticipate employee or departmental obstacles and develop a plan to overcome challenges
Support management decisions by engaging in appropriate interactions withothers and fostering the same within team
Demonstrate good judgment during negative situations and potential conflict
Display and foster a positive team environment and successdriven attitude
Knowledge of all safety mechanical chemical electrical procedures applicable to job
Understand and apply EH&S standards
Must be able to work alone or with others and demonstrate good judgment regarding conflict resolution and employee issues
Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance within 6 months required
Must be able to wear clean room attire and work in a clean room setting abiding by all clean room protocol
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent with 8 years prior manufacturingexperience 2 year postsecondary/AA Degree and 4 years prior manufacturingexperience
