Job Description
Position: FullTime Occupational Therapist
Job Summary:
Location: Camden County NJ
Employment Type: Contracted/FullTime
Start Date: ASAPExpertHiring is seeking a dedicated and qualified Occupational Therapist (OT) to support students with disabilities in achieving their educational goals. The OT will work closely with educators families and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized therapy plans that enhance students academic and functional performance.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students functional abilities and needs.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and therapy plans.
- Provide direct and consultative therapy services to students in various school settings.
- Collaborate with teachers parents and support staff to integrate therapy into the classroom environment.
- Assist in developing adaptive strategies modifications and assistive technology recommendations.
- Maintain detailed records of therapy sessions progress notes and compliance documentation.
- Participate in IEP meetings team discussions and professional development activities.
- Qualifications:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist in the state of New Jersey.
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Schoolbased experience preferred but new graduates with strong pediatric backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
- Knowledge of IEP processes and special education regulations.
- Strong communication organizational and collaboration skills.
