Summary of the Role
Ownership of Microsoft .Net Applications in Lubrizol to support the global leader for this function. This role is based at GCC Pune. Essential to have handson skills and deep expertise on all components in the full stack of .Net technology that shall be used in the applications fit for purpose and secure use.
The incumbent is responsible for collaboration with stakeholders gather and evaluate business requirements conceptualize and propose solutions design the application in collaboration with the architects perform development tasks ensure smooth deployment support use and maintenance and work with stakeholders to effectively use the full stack of .Net technology.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and evaluate them for technical adaptation
- Be owner of the lifecycle of the application conceptualize and propose solutions design the application in collaboration with the architects perform development tasks ensure smooth deployment support use and maintenance perform activities in the steady state support.
- Participate in implementation and enduser training for the respective Microsoft technology applications.
- Developed applications shall be scalable secure and maintainable; conforming to industry best practices and principles.
- Work with crossfunctional teams to evaluate requirements and specifications.
- Organize and perform technical reviews.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies tools and techniques to improve software development processes and product quality.
- Create and maintain technical documentation including design documents test plans and user guides.
- Perform estimation of resources and planning of software development tasks and projects.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues in a timely manner.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Effectively contribute to developing and maintaining application management structures policies and standards.
- Monitor effective usage of the technology platform.
Educational Qualifications and Work Experience
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or Information Systems (BSc MSc MCA BE/BTech ME/ MTech) from science engineering and technology colleges.
- Microsoft certified: Azure Developer Associate or similar Microsoft certifications.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in application development; of which a significant part shall be on Microsoft .Net fullstack development.
- Experience of leadership role would be good to have.
Technical Skills:
- 15 years of experience in programming on Microsoft technologies of which a significant duration shall be on Microsoft fullstack software development.
- Strong proficiency in C# .NET ASP Razor Blazor MVC Web API and SQL Server.
- Extensive experience with Azure cloud services and related technologies.
- Proven experience in architecting and implementing scalable secure and maintainable applications.
- Proven experience in frontend technologies such as HTML CSS JavaScript and modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular React jQuery).
- Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps Power Automate and Power BI).
- Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and processes such as Azure DevOps.
- Familiarity with other cloud platforms (e.g. AWS or GCP) and related technologies.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Strong understanding of software design principles and best practices.
- Excellent analytical problemsolving and decisionmaking skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Superior critical thinking skills with the ability to develop outofthebox problemsolving approaches to formulate innovative solutions.
- Demonstrate collaboration skills with the ability to handle conflict and work with a distributed team.
- International mindset must be able to deal with diverse international team.
- Key technical skills: C# .NET ASP Blazor MVC Web API SQL Server HTML/CSS JavaScript JSON Azure DevOps.
- Knowledge of TypeScript Angular React jQuery.
- Knowledge of Power Apps Power Automate SharePoint.
Desired Operative Skills:
- Agile development methodology
- Successfully manage multiple tasks involving planned projects and adhoc tasks
- Experience of Service Now ticketing system or equivalent.

- Strong written and verbal English skills.

- Able to work flexible hours to meet deadlines.
